Solar PV modules convert Sun light into energy and generate DC Power during the day. DC Power is supplied to the inverter which convert DC to AC power and Export to EB Grid. Net meter is synchronized with solar On Grid and has set priority of utilizing the solar power. On-Grid System offers dual benefits, first by reducing the electricity usage 80 – 90 % from grid and secondly by minimizing the net payable amount by adjusting the cost of electricity supplied to the EB Grid by the On-Grid Solar System. If Excess power is produces by System, it shall be carry forward to Next Month Billing. On-Grid Solar Rooftop Photo Voltaic (SPV) power plant consists of SPV array, Module Mounting Structure, Power Conditioning Unit (PCU) consisting of Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT), Inverter unit, and Controls & Monitoring Devices, Lightning and earthing Protections, interconnection cables, String Junction boxes, AC/DC Distribution boxes and MC4 Connectors.
